Through our many years of experience we understand the traumas faced by creditors, company directors and individuals who find themselves under extreme financial pressure

David founded the practice of David Rubin & Partners in 1984 to focus on business recovery and forensic litigation support. Since then he has concentrated almost exclusively on under-performing businesses and has become a well-recognised and respected figure in the recovery industry.

Having previously sat on the Council of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3) and chaired the Education, Courses and Conferences Committee and the Smaller Practice Group (SPG), David currently sits on the Council of INSOL Europe. He is also heavily involved in INSOL International and lectures regularly for the insolvency profession.

David’s primary role is to ensure the quality of service at the practice, ensuring that all members of his team demonstrate a high level of professionalism and technical expertise and that all legal and other regulations are complied with.

He enjoys the challenge of business rescue and his work often involves litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

In his spare time, David’s hobbies include tennis, skiing, restoring classic cars and playing the piano.
